16 October 2016 - Amsterdam Marathon, The Netherlands (Marathon, 21k & 8k) Fast & Flat
There are various events scheduled this day: the 42km Marathon (starts at 9:30), the 21km Half Marathon (starts at 13:30), the 8 km run (starts at 10:10), and also some childrens events. The marathon route is mainly flat and is known for its fast and beautiful course. The start and finish take place in the +/-80 year-old Olympic Stadium. And every year this leaves an unforgettable impression, not least because of the presence of the supporters in the stadium. The route is packed with things worth seeing in Amsterdam. As such, you pass the world famous Rijks Museum on the Museumplein, and through the Vondel Park. (48-hectare park, full of flowers, ponds, footpaths and playgrounds, a favourite among Amsterdammers) and follows a part of the Olympic route along the Amstel River, past stately homes and a few windmills. 42km Marathon runners will have 6 hours to complete the race, 21km Half Marathon runners will have 3 hours. 23 October 2016 - Venice Marathon, Italy (Marathon)  Italian Beauty
The Venice Marathon starts in Stra, a village in the countryside +/- 25kms from Venice. The course is mainly flat and fast through the rural areas and what better way to see St Mark's Square, the Grand Canal and many beautiful 18th century mansions than to run past them ! The crowds along the route are enthusiastic and vocal and everyone seemed to enjoy the spectacle, runners and spectators alike. The Marathon starts at 9.05am. Time limit is 6 hours.

29 & 30 October 2016 - Polar Circle Marathon, Greenland (Marathon & 21k) Icy Adventure
Combine your visit to remote Greenland with a unique arctic race. Run on the vast ice sheet and experience breathtaking polar landscapes in this challenging running event.The Polar Circle Marathon - often referred to as "the coolest marathon on earth" takes place in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. 30 October 2016 - Marine Corps Marathon & 10k, USA (Marathon & 10km) Marathon of the Monuments
Known affectionately as the “Marathon of the Monuments,” the scenic route passes by the most impressive landmarks in Virginia and the nation’s capital. One of the largest marathons in the world it starts with the blast of the M2A1 Howitzer at 7:55 a.m., sending 30,000 runners on a mission to 'charge the district, beat the bridge and take the Iwo.' The MCM promises a spectacular start with skydivers, colour guard, national anthem, special guests and international flags from all nations represented in the field. With the start and finish in Arlington, the Marine Corps Marathon offers an unparalleled journey through the most recognizable landmarks in our country. 4-12 November 2016 - Oman Desert Marathon, Oman (165km stage race) Desert Adventure

During the first week of November every year, about 100 runners from 15 different countries congregate  to take part in a unique adventure in the breathtaking wilderness of the Oman Desert. The Oman Desert Marathon is a race covering 165 km requiring each runner to be completely self sufficient.
The runners will embody the essence and essential part of a real “desert experience”. This vast expanse of awe-inspiring beauty and fantasy will present   a physical, emotional and spiritual experience of a lifetime. The course will start from the Alwasil Oasis of Bidiyah and finish on the shore of the Arabian Sea.
Six stages and six different perspectives of one of the most beautiful deserts of the world: red, golden and white sands will make this journey unique and always different, in a scenario that doesn’t know monotony. The six stages of the race will take the runners through mile upon mile of astonishing shapes and sizes of sand dunes, palm groves, hamlets and villages. 13 November 2016 - Athens Marathon (The Authentic), Greece (Marathon, 10k & 5k) Legendary Course
The Athens Marathon is legendary. Formerly known as the Athens Classic Marathon they have changed name in recent years to reflect the marathons legendary status. Athens is the birthplace of the Marathon race 2504 years ago. A legendary course it is a must for every marathon runner. The route is hilly and challenging - starts near the sea at marathon village and ends in the spectacular Panathinaikos Stadium in Athens. Panathinaikos Stadium was built entirely in white marble for the first modern Olympics in 1896. The marble stadium is located on the same spot where remains of an ancient stadium used for the original Olympic Games in ancient Greece were excavated. The marathon start is staggered from 9am until 9.23am. 13 November 2016 - Istanbul Marathon, Turkey (Marathon, 15k & 10k) 2 continents race
Mostly flat, it is the only course in the world where the marathon includes two continents, Asia and Europe, in one race. The Marathon race starts just behind the Bosphorus Bridge on the Asian side of Turkey, crosses the bridge affording beautiful views to the European side. Then you run along a coastal road, through Gulhane Park and to the city to finish near the Blue Mosque. Hippodrome which was the meeting and sporting centre of Romans, Byzantium and Ottoman Empire, is the finish point (close to the Blue Mosque). The marathon is a Gold Label IAAF event. Taking place on the same day there is also 15km,10km and Fun Walk races. The marathon starts at 9am and you have 5 and half hours to finish and receive a medal. 03 December 2016 - Reggae Marathon, Jamaica (Marathon, 21k & 10k) Land of Reggae and Rasta

Ya'Mon! Course is mostly flat and fun, fun, fun with reggae music every mile or so. A small race with maximum 3,000 participants but big on atmosphere. All distances start together in the dark at 5.15am (before it gets hot!). The marathon is a gentle double loop which starts and finishes at the beach. You may run, walk or run/walk as you have plenty of time to complete your chosen distance. The course remains open for 6 hours, marathoners must reach the halfway mark in 3 hours. Strike a "Lighting Bolt" pose - the famous pose of Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt when you cross the finish line and have a great time celebrating by the beach and soaking up the sun and local drinks. 26 November 2016 - Bagan Temple Marathon, Myanmar (Marathon, 21k & 10k) Alluring untouched lands

Tucked away in central Myanmar and home to more than 2,000 temples, Bagan’s beauty and historical significance is unsurpassed. Sacred pagodas and beautiful temples are scattered across the plains of Bagan creating a mystical, striking landscape. The marathon course will take runners on a voyage of discovery into this alluring and untouched land. 20 January 2017 - Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon, UAE (Marathon, 10k & 40k) Arabian Delight

This event is considered as one of the first sporting events on the city's calendar, occurring this time in early January and taking advantage of the cooler winter temperatures. 26 February 2017 - Tokyo Marathon 2017, Japan (Marathon & 10km) Big, Exciting and Vibrant

Tokyo is an exciting and fascinating city with great nightlife. The Tokyo Marathon 2017 is generally a flat course and extremely popular with runners from all corners of the globe, especially since they became a member of the Abbott World Marathon Majors. It is the largest marathon in Asia and one of the largest in the world with approx. 35,500 participants. The course is a sightseeing tour of Tokyo with 2017 we expect to see a new route which ends by the Imperial Palace. With big crowd support, taiko drums, kimono dancers, and brass bands it has a festival atmosphere. The Marathon time limit is 7 hours with checkpoints and cut off times en-route. The land arrangements are operated by KNT in Japan and guidance is given locally. Invitation included to the After Run Party which is a special event for approx. 500 overseas runners and companions. The party venue is authentic Japanese place where there will be awards to any runners who have completed 6 Marathon Majors, a Japanese Cultural performance such as Wadaiko (Japanese traditional drum) and Sumo, Japanese Cuisine such as Sushi bar and Sake tasting. 12 March 2017 - Barcelona Marathon, Spain (Marathon) Cosmopolitan City
Barceona is one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan cities and one of the Mediterranean’s busiest ports. The race is slightly uphill for the first +/- 10kms and then the rest is a flat circular course, making it ideal for achieving a good time. Runners start and finish below the green hills of Montjuic Park in front of the Magic Fountain on Av. Christina. They then race thorough the city enjoying many of the sites of the Catalan capital. Along the way they will see Camp Nou (home to FC Barcelona), Gaudi's magnificent La Pedrera and his cathedral masterpiece Sagrada Familia as well as the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The race starts at 8.30am and is expected to attract +/- 19,000 runners and there is a 6 hour cut off time. 17 March 2017 - Jerusalem Marathon, Israel (Marathon, 21km, 10km & 5km) Cultural journey
The event will include several tracks – marathon (42.2 km), half-marathon (21.1 km), 10 km race, competitive 5 km race, popular 5 km race, family1.7km race and an 800 m community race. This is one of Israel's largest marathons, with 30,000 participants of which hundreds are elite runners and runners from abroad. The various tracks pass by fascinating historical sites that illuminate 3,000 years of the history of Jerusalem, Israel's capital. The International Jerusalem Winner Marathon combines physical endurance with exquisite landscapes, fresh mountain air and unique culture and heritage sites such as the Israeli Knesset, Machane Yehuda Marketplace, Mount Scopus, the Old City, David's Tower, Haas Promenade and more. 19 March 2017 - UA New York City Half Marathon, USA (21km) Big Apple Fun 21km

Starting on beautiful Central Park’s West Drive near 64th Street, runners head south, and make a complete counter-clockwise loop of the park. You then continue to the southern end of the park, exit onto Seventh Ave and head south through traffic-free Times Square. A right turn onto 42nd Street takes you to 12th Avenue (West Side Highway), where you turn right, go north for two blocks, and then turn around at 44th Street and run south along the Hudson River waterfront on the West Side Highway to Lower Manhattan. You take the Battery Park Underpass to FDR Drive and take the South Street exit, cross over South Street onto Old Slip, turn right onto Water Street and continue to the finish line on Water Street at Wall Street. There are some modest inclines in the first half of the race, but from Mile 6 it is gently downhill and from around Mile 8 (10km) it is almost completely flat to the Finish Line. The field is limited to a maximum 20,000 runners and the time limit is 3 hours. The race distance is 21kms and starts at 7.30 am. Contact us if you would like to book for 2017

02 April 2017 - Rome Marathon, Italy (Marathon & 4km) Bellissimo Roma
Starting and finishing close to the Colosseum this race takes you through the streets of historical Rome, which includes St. Peter's Square, Vatican City, Olympic Stadium, Piazzale Popolo and Trevi Fountain. A simple medical form must be completed by your Doctor and no qualifying race is required. The race usually attracts in excess of 14,000 runners, starts at 8.50am; there is a 7hrs 30mins cut off time. There is a supporting 5km Fun Run (Stracittadina) which starts immediately after the marathon start. It's one of the biggest Fun Runs in Europe, expecting +/- 80,000 entries. Prices. Booking Form. 09 April 2017 - Rotterdam Marathon, The Netherlands (Marathon & 10km) Fast and Flat
Rotterdam Marathon is one of the biggest one day sporting events in the Netherlands. It attracts the world’s elite runners because the course if fast and flat. Starting and finishing on the bustling Coolsingel, the atmosphere and crowd support is not only very good at the start but throughout the route. The race usually attracts approx. 40,000 runners. The marathon starts at 10h00 and there is a 5hrs 30mins time limit. There is also a 10km race which takes place on the same day.

3 June 2017 - Stockholm Marathon, Sweden (Marathon) Scandinavian Beauty CLOSED
Stockholm is one of the most beautiful capitals and well known for its cafes, parks and long summer nights. Built on 14 islands Stockholm, capital of Sweden is a city of contrasts – water and islands, history and innovation, small town/big city and up to 18 hours of day light during summer. The marathon course is two laps through the central parts of Stockholm. The surroundings vary from the woods of the Royal Park "Djurgården" to the streets of a big city. The course passes buildings such as the Royal Palace, the City Hall, the Royal Opera and the Houses of Parliament. Much of the race is run along beautiful waterways. When passing the "Västerbron" bridge, the runners will enjoy a fantastic view over a city with buildings ranging in age from the medieval times to the present day. The difference in altitude between the highest and the lowest point of the course is 29 meters. Starting just outside the Olympic Stadium the race finishes inside the famous Olympic Stadium. The first lap is 16.6 kilometres, the second lap 25.6 kilometres. Since this is a two lap course the top runners will lap the slower runners by the end of their second lap. The race is well supported by the locals who enthusiastically cheer everyone on. The race starts at 12h00 on ”Lidingövägen”, the road just outside the Olympic Stadium. Runners are divided into two groups that start at 10 minute intervals. Average weather is 18 deg C. Time limit to finish and get a medal and finishers t-shirt is 6 hours. 18 June 2017 - Rio de Janeiro Marathon, Brazil (Marathon, 21km & 10km) Samba city
Rio de Janeiro is famous for its beauty, hotel-lined sandy tourist beaches. It's an exciting city, here you can walk through parks inside the city, seeing monkeys and toucans, spend the evening partying and exploring the vibrant nightlife or simply watching the sunset or sunrise over this captivating city. The Rio de Janeiro Marathon (42km) is a point to point course through city streets starting in Recreio and finishing in Flamengo. With the Serra do Mar Mountains on your left and the ocean to your right this coastal course is picturesque. Runners are cheered on by enthusiastic supporters lining the streets through famous neighbourhoods like Praia da Reserva, Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Botafogo and Flamengo. For runners seeking a lesser distance there is also a half marathon event to enter. The 42km marathon starts at 7.30am, the 21km starts at 6.45am and there is also a 6km Family Run which starts at 8.00am on the same morning. Prices. Booking Form.

25 June 2017 - Mont Blanc Marathon, Switzerland (42km) Swiss mountain race
Distance of 42km coupled with a positive vertical gain of 2760m, and a 1704m vertical drop off. Limited to 2000 runners, this marathon is on mountain trails between 1000m and 2200m in altitude with a finish at 2000m. Starting from the centre of Chamonix (1035m) this 42km marathon is effectively a tough trail race. The route climbs steadily towards the upper valley, passing through the hamlets of "les Bois" and Lavancher to reach Argentière (1250m). Runners will bypass the village of Argentière and reach Le Planet by the "Chemin des Rambles" before going to Montroc using a local road, closed for the event. After going through the village of Montroc you take the trail towards Tré le Champ and from here, you go towards the Col des Montets. The route crosses the "Col des Montets" (1461m) in the heart of the Aiguilles Rouges' Natural Reserve. Then along the "chemin des Diligences", the old stage-coach route, you arrive at the hamlet of Buet before reaching Vallorcine (1260 m), nestled at the bottom of a pretty valley at just a stone's throw from Switzerland. Here begins the progression to the Col des Possettes (1997m) via a trail leaving from the Plan de l'envers.A refreshment post is available at the top of the col before finally climbing up to the Aiguilles des Posettes (2201m) where you will be rewarded by a breathtaking panoroma of the Mont Blanc range. Facing the ‘Aiguille Verte' and the Mont Blanc range, the route follows the ridgeline of the 'aiguillette' gradually descending in the direction of Tré le Champ. You will go along a pretty trail that brings your toward le Tour, crosses through the village, and then takes you near to the Tour glacier. Then, you will take a north facing trail (a cooler perspective....) towards Montroc before crossing through the hamlets of the Frasserands and Tré le Champ. At the heart of the Aiguilles Rouges massif, at the opposite of the Mont-Blanc range, the route climbs up towards la Flégère (1875 m). After crossing the magnificent Charlanon comb(1812m) the climb is gentle on a balcony path,with one of the most beautiful views of the Mont-Blanc, to reach Altitude 2000. There is also a 23km and 80km during the same weekend. The 42km marathon starts at 07:00am with a cut off time of 9 hours. Prices. Booking Form.

16 July 2017 - Mauritius Marathon, Indian Ocean Islands (Marathon, 21km & 10km) Mauritian Beauty
The LUX* Mauritius Marathon combines a sporting challenge with the discovery of the natural and cultural heritage of Mauritius into one big adventure. The new course reveals landscapes all along the most beautiful coastal road in Mauritius, combined with a spectacular view over the Baie du Cap lagoon through the UNESCO protected mountain of Le Morne. 17 September 2017 - Sanlam Cape Town Marathon, Cape Town (Marathon, 10km, 5km & Trail Runs) World class African

Spectacular 42.2km route and a dynamic organisation....Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is endorsed by Elana Meyer and Francois Pienaar, two of South Africa’s most celebrated sporting greats. The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon takes place on 18th September 2016 and starts and finishes outside the iconic Cape Town Stadium. The race is a beautiful sightseeing tour of the natural beauty of Cape Town’s mountains and sea, as well as many of the city’s attractions and cultural areas. 24 September 2017 - Loch Ness Marathon  (Marathon,10km & 5km) Scottish Festival of Fun
The Loch Ness Marathon & other events takes place in the beautiful scenery of Scotland. Launched in 2002 it is widely recognised as one of the UK's most popular, scenic and well organised marathons. A weekend of activity for the entire family to enjoy with various race distances and fun runs, pasta party with live music, bagpipes, drums and entertainment. Approx. 8000 entrants accross all the events with runners from mainly UK but with an increasing number from overseas. With a route that hugs the southern shores of the Loch, you may even catch a glimpse of the Loch's most famous resident - Nessie! The marathon starts at 10am and there is a 7 hour cut off time and no qualifying races are required. 08 October 2017 - Buenos Aires Marathon, Argentina (Marathon) South American Charm

The Buenos Aires Marathon is one of the largest marathons in the Southern Hemisphere. The race route is flat and starts and finishes in the city. Roads are wide and with good support from the spectators this is an excellent overseas marathon to do a PB whilst seeing the major sights of the city. Typically around 10,000 participants from many countries enjoy many beautiful neighbourhoods and city sites along the route. This includes lakes and parks, some of the city's finest and most elegant hotels, Government House, cathedral, the Obelisk, financial, historic and tourist districts, soccer stadium, the widest river in the world, the new tunnel, La Boca and countless other fascinating and colourful points of interest all the way to the finish in the wooded Av Figueroa Alcorta.
