Schneider Electric Paris Marathon

Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is one of the biggest marathons in the world, which is run through the most beautiful city in the world. As the official South African Tour Operator for the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris (Paris Marathon), we can offer you a guaranteed place in this great marathon.

This is a very popular race which starts from 08h25 (in waves, depending on seeding) on one of the world’s most famous streets, the Champs Elysees. This race is a memorable and exciting journey through Paris, finishing in the spectacular Avenue Foch. The course is relatively flat and winds through the beautiful parks and streets and tunnels of Paris. It is one of the biggest marathons in the world with an expected approximate 50,000 finishers.

Visas

South African passport holders, like most other nationalities, are required to obtain a visa before entering France. Once your final payment has been made, we are happy to provide supporting documentation for your visa application. This is usually 3 months before travel. To proceed with booking, we need the following:

1. Booking forms completed by main contact and signed by all the travellers

2. Passport copies of all the travellers

3. The last page of the T&C’s signed by all the travellers

IMPORTANT: We cannot sell race entry alone; it has to be sold as part of a travel package.

Non-running companions are welcome and priced accordingly.

Race Info

No pre-qualifying time required. The Schneider Electric Paris Marathon require that you complete their Health preventition course no more than three month beforehand. Upon completion you will receive a certificate number, which you will need to add to your runners profile. (Guidance will be provided). The time limit to finish the marathon is 6 hours.
