THE SANLAM CAPE TOWN MARATHON – RUN A WORLD CLASS AFRICAN MARATHON!
We are excited to be working with The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon in partnership with race organisers Faces as a Tour operator for this event. As an Abbott World Marathon Majors Candidate on a mission to become the Africa’s first World Marathon Major.

Spectacular 42.2km route and a dynamic organisation….Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is endorsed by Elana Meyer and Francois Pienaar, two of South Africa's most celebrated sporting greats. The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon starts and finishes outside the iconic Cape Town Stadium and has a vision of becoming one of the World Marathon Majors. The race is a beautiful sightseeing tour of the natural beauty of Cape Town’s mountains and sea, as well as many of the city’s attractions and cultural areas. It unites all with a shared love of sport and fun showcasing the gorgeous sights of the Mother City of Cape Town. Their RUN4CHANGE legacy program supports charities, development, sustainability, peace, and health. The 42.2km Marathon starts at 06h40 and has a 6 hour 30 minutes cut-off time. Peace proceedings and Peace Run 10km start from 07h10 and has a 2-hour race cut-off time.
Runners come together to enjoy a festival of the running weekend that also includes a 5km Fun Run (Saturday), adventurous Trail Runs (Saturday), and a team-building Relay (Saturday). For details of the race and rules please refer to http://www.capetownmarathon.com
