TOKYO MARATHON 2025 is one of the Abbott World Marathon Majors and is generally a flat sightseeing tour of Tokyo and extremely popular with runners from all corners of the globe. Tokyo is an exciting and fascinating city with great nightlife.

The time limit is 7 hours and based on the gun time (not chip time).
Traditional the marathon attracts big crowd support, with taiko drums, kimono dancers, and brass bands the atmosphere is festive. Land arrangements are operated by KNT in Japan and guidance is given locally. Invitation is included to the After Run Party which is a special event for approx. 500 overseas runners and companions. The after party venue is an authentic Japanese place where runners can celebrate their Tokyo Marathon achievements with other participants from around the world, there will be awards to any runners who have earned their six Star Finisher Medal with completion of the Tokyo Marathon, a Japanese Cultural performance such as Wadaiko (Japanese traditional drum) and Sumo, Japanese Cuisine such as Sushi bar and Sake tasting.
