There are very few sporting events where the average man on the street can enter the same event and compete with the professionals and +/- 40 000 runners from around the world. The start is on the six-lane Strasse des 17. Juni near “Kleiner Stern” in the beautiful Tiergarten Park and the route is traffic-free, extremely flat and very fast.
